Pallavi Sharma is co-director of Gem Executive Coaching Ltd and is responsible for Leadership, Management and Employee Development. She has over 15 years experience in the field of adult learning and development in the UK and internationally. She has designed and delivered coaching, assessments and training programmes in countries as varied as the UK,

Spain, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Malaysia and India and speaks  French, German and Spanish. These experiences of living and working in other countries have given her a natural flexibility and adaptability when working with different cultures.

Pallavi’s previous positions have spanned the private, public and voluntary sectors, having worked, for example, at DHL, Easy Jet, Oxfam, the NHS and the House of Commons. Since setting up Gem, organisations she has worked with include Shell, Unicef, the Department for International Development, Ofsted, Charter Group, Simply Health Group, Berkshire Business Link and UK Sport.

Pallavi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has tutored on the CIPD’s Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring qualification. She is also a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and mentors disadvantaged young people between the ages of 13-21 alongside her organisational work.  Pallavi supports her practical experience with training and qualifications in key areas including Organisation Development, Executive Coaching, Executive Assessment, Performance Coaching, Coaching Supervision and Organisational Stress Management. Her skill and specialism is in enabling people to get the best out of themselves and those they lead and manage.

Vidyut Sharma is co-director of Gem Executive Coaching Ltd and responsible for Leadership and Employee Well-being. She has a background of over 40 years in business, including setting up and running other successful businesses prior to Gem. Her early career in competitive sport, where she reached the top of her discipline, taught her not only what it takes to reach the top, but also

what it takes to stay there - an altogether different ball game! She regularly draws on this knowledge and experience when coaching leaders and organisations.

Vidyut combines her wealth of practical experience in business and other walks of life with an in-depth knowledge of human psychology and personality. She is a qualified and highly experienced counsellor, stress management consultant and trauma therapist. Her ability to assess people and situations quickly and in great depth enables her to support her clients through their most difficult and challenging experiences. She combines her experience in business and coaching with her skills in counselling and stress management to great effect when supporting teams and individuals through organisational change, redundancy or situations such as grievance and disciplinary. She is also highly sought after to work with employees who are victims of trauma, such as accidents or fatality of a colleague or customer, theft or break-in at work. She has worked on several high profile incidents such as the 7/7 London bombings, Hatfield and Potters Bar train crashes and the Birmingham NEC shooting.

Vidyut is also a qualified and experienced supervisor. She provides one to one and group supervision to new and experienced coaches and counsellors, drawing on both her qualifications and training along with her own experiences in coaching and therapy to support her clients in their work. She is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the International Stress Management Association. Amongst her array of qualifications and training are Clinical and Coaching Supervision, Performance Coaching, CBT, REBT, EMDR, Stress and Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Critical Incident Defusion and Solution Focused Therapy. She is a highly regarded expert in her field and specialises in working with complex issues which affect performance and relationships at work.
